ARTIST & STUDIO CORNER
God's Eternal Word and Promise:
"To grant to those who mourn in Zion the following: To give them a turban instead of dust on their heads, a sign of mourning, The oil of joy instead of mourning, The expressive garment of praise instead of a disheartened spirit. So they will be called the trees of righteousness. Strong and magnificent, distinguished for integrity, justice, and right standing with God, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."
Isaiah 61:3 The Amplified Bible paraphrased
Beauty 4 Ash Studio
This is the studio of an emerging artist from NW Ontario, Canada. With a larger vision in the area of growth and community.
Often as people, we admirer those who persevere through hardship into a place of thriving, strength and wonder. Those that pursue passions dispute the cost. Personally, I view this
The Purpose of Beauty 4 Ash Studio is to express stories of Transformation through partnership with our Creator in Faith of Jesus, the Son of God. It is also a platform to express the wonder, joys, stories and sorrows of life on the earth.
Many of us ask "Is there more to life than this ?" This studio is part of the answer I have found as a resounding "Yes!!" For more on this topic, visit the blog page.
Stephanie J.- Thriving Chrisian Artist
My journey began as an acrylic artist in 2011 when I discovered this medium on the East Coast in a Church’s youth room. I was invited to try painting with acrylics and discovered a love for them. I painted whatever I could at that time, including cardboard and was able to get a brick wall look.
Over the following years, I painted off and on. Mainly as a way to deal with difficult emotions and declare truth in faith. Not necessarily though taking the time and energy to develop this hobby into a master craft.
That began to change a few month ago with my taking an online Christian Master Class for Artists by Matt Tommery in the USA. This man shared many insights into the creative process and challenged the participants to be more intentional with the development of their skills. To create with purpose and intention alongside of building authentic connections with other people.
One suggestion Matt also gave was the process of duplication to develop skills. This is something I personally want to do more of and find ways to learn from more experienced artists. Part of this whole journey involves challenging myself and being open to creating with Holy Spirit. Who is, I believe, an integral part of the creative divine team who crafted all things. Can’t think of a better being to learn so much from in this creative process and messy journey of life!
